Advisors in this role are assigned an entrepreneur (or entrepreneurial team) to support for the duration of the cohort. There is no specific number of meetings or time requirement, however mentors are requested to remain in touch and available to meet with their mentee throughout the approximately 4-month (15 weeks) cohort.

Mentors receive training materials and are provided access to the curriculum in order to understand what the participants are learning.


Mentors help participants:

  • Make decisions

  • Address questions that arise while completing intentionally thought-provoking cohort activities

  • Facilitate network connections as appropriate


Time Commitment:

Approximately 12-20 hours over the course of the cohort, depending on the needs of the participant and mentor-mentee relationship agreement.


Mentor Attributes:

  • You’ve been there done that – you are an experienced entrepreneur, business owner or business executive/leader, with knowledge to share on past mistakes and successes. 

  • You are ready and willing to share lessons learned.

  • You have access to a broad network of seasoned decision-makers and entrepreneurs, and are willing to facilitate connections to support budding entrepreneurs.
