  • Market Manager - Central Ohio

    Start Date: ASAP

    Hours/Week: Varied; this is equivalent to a 16-20 hour per week position with flexible, primarily work from home hours that will vary week to week throughout the year. You will have a lot of control over your schedule.

    Compensation: $25 - $30K; commensurate with experience.

    Other details: This opportunity is primarily remote, however it is crucial to note that there will be mandatory in-person meetings and events, and applicants without a current Central Ohio network will not be considered.

    Prospective candidates have reliable transportation, and dependable access to the internet and a computer equipped with video capabilities. Personal cell phone use is expected. Technical support is possible.

    Summary:

    The Signature Cohort

    The Central Ohio Market Manager plays a crucial role in implementing the SEA Change Signature Cohort program, adhering to SEA Change's best practices. The manager's responsibilities include sourcing and retaining talented entrepreneurs, skilled volunteer advisors, and corporate sponsors from the target market, as well as overseeing the planning and execution of the culminating Showcase Event that concludes the Cohort experience. The expectation is that the Manager will implement a minimum of one Signature Cohort per year.

    The Affiliate Partner Program

    The Central Ohio Market Manager will also provide critical support and leadership for the implementation of Affiliate Partner SEA Change Accelerators, with a particular focus on those located in and around Columbus, Ohio (and/or in the Eastern Time Zone).

    Network Expansion

    The Market Manager's strong local network within the entrepreneurial and social impact spheres is a significant asset to this role. Collaborating with the SEA Change HQ Office staff, the Market Manager will identify and cultivate promising prospects for large-scale partnerships and funding relationships. Additionally, the Market Manager will take an active role in recruiting volunteers and participants by attending various local entrepreneur-oriented events.

    The Central Ohio Market Manager will maintain the highest level of “customer service” communication to all involved parties.

  • Director of Programming

    Compensation: $80-$85K; commensurate with experience.

    Other details: This opportunity is primarily remote however it is crucial to note that there will be mandatory in-person meetings and events in multiple markets across the country. The Headquarters for SEA Change is in Columbus, Ohio.

    About SEA Change:

    SEA Change is a nonprofit dedicated to empowering and supporting social entrepreneurs across the nation. Through innovative programming, we provide the tools, resources, and community connections needed to drive sustainable social impact. As we expand, we are seeking a strategic and experienced Director of Programming to support our core initiatives.

    Position Summary:

    The Director of Programming will oversee the delivery and expansion of SEA Change's affiliate and Signaure Cohort programming. This role involves providing critical support to our affiliate network, managing and guiding Market Managers, and ensuring seamless and consistent program operations using key management tools. Working very closely with the Executive Director, the Director of Programming will also play a central role in shaping the strategic direction of our programs and identifying opportunities for growth.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Market Manager Support & Coordination

    • Oversee part-time Market Managers, each running their own Signature Cohort, ensuring they have the resources and support required for success.

    • Facilitate the use of Monday.com for program management and Thinkific.com as our Learning Management System, ensuring all program data and learning content is up-to-date and accurate.

    • Coordinate regular meetings with Market Managers to share insights, address challenges, and maintain consistent program quality across locations.

    • Travel as needed to meet with Market Managers and affiliates to offer in-person support and build stronger program ties.

    2. Affiliate Support & Development

    • Act as the main point of contact for affiliates, offering guidance and resources to ensure successful program execution and alignment with SEA Change’s goals.

    • Provide ongoing support to affiliates, particularly during peak periods, ensuring their evolving needs are met with timely interventions.

    • Maintain and enhance training materials, tools, and resources to insure affiliate leadership and program delivery.

    3. Program Expansion & Strategic Growth

    • Collaborate with the Executive Director on strategy development, focusing on identifying and seizing new opportunities for program expansion and social entrepreneur support.

    • Lead efforts to scale programming, support new affiliate partnerships, and assess the impact of existing initiatives.

    • Track program performance and use data-driven insights to refine program strategy and execution.

    • Provide regular reports to SEA Change leadership, presenting key performance metrics, program outcomes, and strategic recommendations.

    Technology & Systems Oversight:

    • Ensure all Market Managers effectively use Monday.com for tracking program tasks, timelines, and communications.

    • Manage Thinkific.com, ensuring the learning modules for cohorts are current, well-organized, and easily accessible to participants.

    • Provide ongoing training and support to Market Managers and affiliates in the use of these platforms and all others, troubleshooting as necessary.

    Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of experience in program management, nonprofit leadership, or a related field, with proven success in growing and scaling initiatives and leading teams.

    • Proficient in project management tools (experience with Monday.com is a plus) and Learning Management Systems.

    • Strong leadership, communication, customer service, and strategic planning skills.

    • Comfortable working with remote teams and traveling as needed for program support.

    • A passion for social entrepreneurship and a commitment to SEA Change’s mission to support changemakers nationwide.

    Details

    Dates: 6/2/2025 – 12/31/2025

    Hours/Week: 8- 10 hours per week with flexible hours (mostly remote). Candidate must be available for all of the below session dates:

     In-person session

    ·       Thursday, June 5th in the evening, time TBD 

    Virtual program sessions

    • Tuesday, July 15th 6:00-7:30pm MT

    • Monday, August 4th 8:00-10:00am MT

    • Monday, August 18th 6:00-7:30pm MT

    • Every Tuesday evening from 6:00-9:00pm MT August 19th-December 16th (we will not meet the Tuesday of holiday weeks – Labor Day September 2nd and Thanksgiving November 25th).

    • Thursday, December 11th 6:00-9:00pm MT

    Location: This position is mostly virtual serving Colorado.
    Compensation: $7,000 for the 7-month project (paid monthly)

    Role Description

    The SEA Change Program Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Colorado Market Manager in the planning and execution of our Colorado Signature Cohort program, recruitment and retention of entrepreneurs and advisors from our target market, and planning and executing a pitch event at the culmination of the cohort experience. The Coordinator is responsible for many “behind the scenes” components of running a program (managing paperwork, space or virtual session logistics, access to online platforms, etc.) as well as some “forward facing” support tasks (communication with our participants, facilitators and mentors, etc.). The Program Coordinator will maintain the highest level of customer service communication to all involved parties.

     Activities 

    • Assist the Market Manager in the planning and execution of the 2025 Colorado Signature Cohort SEA Change Accelerator program. This includes aspects of recruitment, selection, implementation, event planning and logistics, data collections and follow up, and communication, etc. for the cohort.

    • The Coordinator will attend each week of the program and other virtual events (see list of dates above).

    • Assist in planning and execution of a final showcase event each year.

    • Regularly communicate via Slack and email with the participants of the program.

    • Participate in recruitment efforts. Attendance at in person events is necessary.

    • Participate in brainstorming and strategy sessions around program improvement and innovation.

    • Working closely with colleagues to update marketing materials and other needed collateral

    • Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing related results
