Emily Wanderer Önce

Emily is passionate about bringing great ideas to life for social benefit. She is the Director of Wellbeing & Social Impact, Growth Products at Sequoia.

Previously, Emily served as the COO at Social Enterprise Greenhouse (SEG), a Rhode Island-based organization providing social entrepreneurs with tools to launch and grow their businesses. Emily lead program development, evaluation, and iteration of the Accelerator program. With SEG, Emily also served as a lead consultant with SEA Change in a 3-year partnership. During her 4+ years with SEG as it grew from a $200k organization to $1.2M.

Emily holds a Master of Science degree from Brown University in entrepreneurship, organizations and social justice. Her Bachelors degree is from the University of Oregon in Political Science with a minor in Business. In 2018, Emily was awarded the Hazeltine Fellowship for her research about equity outcomes in entrepreneurial support ecosystems focused on social impact.
