Melissa Crosby
Melissa Crosby is the North Carolina Program Coordinator for SEA Change, and a long-standing contributor to the NC Triangle’s thriving tech startup ecosystem. With over a decade of experience leading fast-paced talent acquisition teams at high-growth tech startups, Melissa pivoted into supporting startups at a venture capital organization where she helps early-stage startups build world-class teams from the ground up.
Melissa’s work goes far beyond recruiting. Deeply embedded in the regional entrepreneurial community, she is the co-founder of LiLa (Ladies Investing / Local Angels)—an organization she launched with her teammate to empower and educate women as angel investors.
Originally from Chattanooga, Tennessee, Melissa earned her B.S. in Business before making Raleigh and the Triangle area home for the past few decades. Despite all those years, she still hasn’t picked a favorite basketball team, which is unheard of in ACC country!. She lives with her husband, daughter, and one very communicative rescue pup named Bubbles.
