2025 North Carolina Showcase Awards!
On Wednesday, November 5, 2025, over 60 changemakers, community supporters, and impact-driven founders gathered at American Underground to celebrate the power of Social Enterprise at the inaugural 2025 SEA Change North Carolina Showcase event.
The evening featured 12 Social Entrepreneurs, inspiring pitches, local stories of impact, Larry King Jr. as MC, and—of course—a little friendly competition for the Crowd Favorite Award and other cash and in-kind prizes. This event was a reflection of North Carolina’s amazing ecosystem for entrepreneurs!
SEA Change Showcase Events are held annually as the grand finale of our Social Enterprise Accelerator programs. This year was extra special because it marked the 10th Birthday of SEA Change (2015-2025)!

Crowd Favorite Award Winner
396 votes were cast for the first-ever NC Crowd Favorite award. Thanks to 27 donors, a cash prize pot over $1,000 was built. Every single dollar raised from this event—both online and in-person—went straight into the hands of the venture who received the most votes.
