Columbus Fashion Academy
Columbus Fashion Academy is a dynamic social enterprise ecosystem dedicated to transforming lives through fashion. They aim to make fashion accessible, creative, and sustainable while educating people to love what they wear and value the stories behind their clothes.
They blend education, sustainability, and community empowerment to create an inclusive space where creativity and self-expression thrive. Their programs serve all ages, from young children to adults, offering hands-on learning in fashion design, artistic freedom, and sustainable practices. Through initiatives like afterschool programs, summer camps and community events such as Mend in Public Day and Puppet Shows, they focus on reducing fashion waste, promoting intentional fashion choices, and fostering intergenerational connections.
Their ecosystem includes Columbus Fashion Academy, TalkingFashion (our pre-loved retail arm), and The Fashion Community (our nonprofit), working together to transform waste into wonder, empowering individuals and communities to rethink fashion's impact on mental, social, and environmental health.
